Hi rick. Go to your "profile" then "avatar". From there, there are 2 ways.
you can either upload a pic straight from your computer or you can upload one onto a picture hoster such as
http://www.imageshack.us/
or
http://tinypic.com/
, then paste the given url into the Avatar settings.
